गुजरात की राजधानी अहमदाबाद के ओढव इलाके में चार मंजिला बिल्डिंग के ढहने की खबर है. हादसा रविवार देर शाम जीवन ज्योत सोसायटी के पास हुआ. इसकी सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस और फायर ब्रिगेड की टीम मौके पर पहुंच चुकी है.प्राप्त जानकारी के मुताबिक, मलबे में कम से कम 10 लोगों के दबे होने की आशंका है. इनमें से दो लोगों को सुरक्षित निकाल लिया गया है. फिलहाल रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन चल रहा है.
बताया जा रहा है कि इमारत में दरार के चलते शनिवार को ही बिल्डिंग को खाली कर दिया गया था. बिल्डिंग 40 साल पुरानी बताई जा रही है.

मौके पर मौजूद एडिशनल चीफ फायर ऑफिसर राजेश भट्ट ने बताया, ‘चार मंजिला बिल्डिंग में कुल 32 फ्लैट थे. मलबे में कुल 10 लोग दबे हैं. इनमें से 2 लोगों को सुरक्षित निकाल लिया गया है.’

हादसे पर गुजरात के गृहमंत्री प्रदीपसिंह जडेजा ने कहा कि नगर निगम, राज्य सरकार, एनडीआरएफ और फायर ब्रिगेड की टीम रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन में जुटी है. गांधीनगर से एनडीआरएफ की 5 टीमें और भेजी गई हैं.
